Ms. Audrey Shavon Ware

Ms. Audrey Ware has been a teacher with the Chicago Public Schools for 16 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University. In addition, Ms. Ware has endorsements in both Reading/ Language Arts and currently pursuing a certificate in Instructional Technology. Ms. Ware has previously taught primary,intermediate, and upper grade classes throughout her career acting also as grade-level chair, lead teacher, curriculum and summer school coordinator, literacy coach and administrator. As far as education is concerned, Ms. Ware strongly supports that all children can learn and that students must first know that you love them before you can instruct them. It is critical in the education of our students that we nurture the "total child". Ms. Ware believes that as teachers in an ever-changing world we must adapt our teaching strategies to meet the various needs of all children. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it".
