Ms. Latoya Brown

Ms. Brown received her Bachelors in Middle School Education from Illinois State University. In 2004, she received her Masters in Educational Administration from St. Xavier University. She has been a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, particularly the Englewood area, for the past 11 years. She has matriculated from being a 6th grade teacher to a school Lead Literacy Teacher and to an Area 14 Literacy Coach. Currently, she serves as one of the 5th Grade Teachers at Nicholson. Her motto is "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."--Nelson Mandela
