Principal Rodney Hull

Principal Hull grew up in the City of Chicago and is a product of the Chicago Public Schools. He attended Daniel Hale Williams and Simeon Career Academy. After Graduating from Simeon, he was awarded a basketball scholarship to the University of Kansas. He earned his Bachelors of Science from Chicago State University as well as a Masters of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Principal Hull started his career as a teacher at Pasteur Elementary School and later assumed the role of Assistant Principal at Simeon Career Academy. After 3 years as Assistant Principal he became Principal at Nicholson Career Academy where he's served the past 9 years. During his time as Principal, Nicholson has made tremendous gains academically raising scores in Reading from 25% to 60% and Math from 23% to 80%. He was also successful changing the culture and climate of the school to an environment where educational dreams and goals could be attained.
